Branding – the often overlooked revenue booster

Whether you offer a service or a product, branding and product recognition are key factors of success. Create an image that represents your company and creates this brand recognition, by creating a consistent image of the following:

– Logobrands-of-us

– Website

– Social Media Accounts

– Telephone answering phrase

– Customer service guidelines

greasemonkeylogoThe best example for the importance of branding was shown in a recently aired episode of Shark Tank – a startup company pitched their “Grease Monkey Wipes” cleaning wipes to the sharks on stage and walked away with an incredible investment deal. You would think with major brands flooding the market with cleaning wipes; what made them so special to land this deal? Both of them were very passionate about their product, but what set them apart was their trademarked logo that was consistently visible throughout the entire presentation, product and the presenters! They were wearing “Grease Monkey Wipes” cycling jerseys and their product was dominated by a very memorable logo, in addition to pamphlets and banners. Everything during these few minutes on stage was geared toward brand recognition. As this blog proves… their brand has definitely left a memorable impression!
